LAYNE STRATTON

Originally from Ventura, CA, Layne was raised surrounded by the Southern California culture of surfing and skateboarding. As some of his friends became professional in their respected sports, Layne opted to pick up a camera where his love of the visual arts began. He began working as a cinematographer in the action sports world working with such companies as Red Bull, Thrasher Magazine, Hurley, Surfer Magazine, World Surf League, and more. As his love and knowledge of cinematography developed he began expanding outside the action sports world, to doing music videos, fashion, and commercial work for clients such as ASAP Rocky, Guitar Center, Hobie, Los Angeles Times, Chipotle, among others.

Layne now resides in Los Angeles, CA working as a Director and DP.
